Characteristics of chemical buttons
Chemical buttons are injection-molded buttons made of chemical raw materials, rich in color, but poor in heat resistance.
1. Bakelite buttons. Also known as Bakelite buttons, it is stamped and formed with phenolic resin and wood powder. Mainly black, mostly round two-eye and four-eye buttons, the size is 5-13mm, the surface is dull, the texture is brittle, fragile, heat-resistant, wear-resistant, cheap, and can be used for low-end Clothing and children's clothing.
2. Electric jade buttons. Buttons stamped with urea-formaldehyde resin and cellulose filler. Generally round, there are bright eyes and dark eyes. There are six kinds of specifications ranging from 15mm to 31mm. Electric jade buttons have good luster, translucent crystals, and rich colors, including monochrome and mixed colors. This type of button has good surface strength, heat resistance, non-combustibility, and is not easy to deform. It is used for mid-range men's and women's clothing and children's clothing.
4. Pearlescent plexiglass buttons. Polymethyl methacrylate is used to add appropriate amount of pearlescent pigment slurry to make plates, and then processed into buttons with pearly luster on the surface, mostly round, with bright eye buttons and dark eye buttons, and the size is 11-30mm. This kind of button has bright color on the surface, rich patterns and hard texture, but poor heat resistance, and it will be deformed when soaked in 60°C water. Generally used for shirts, knitted outerwear, suits, coats, uniforms, leather garments, etc.
5. Nylon buttons. Made of polyamide plastic injection molding. Available in natural and finish-dyed buttons. The color is soft and has a certain elasticity. It is mostly used in casual wear, sportswear and children's clothing.
